Obviously, some kind of "communication" must be established. I have been able to communicate in this environment without speaking a single word of Korean et al and they did not spaek many words of English.

My only caution would be if you suspected a deep sting operation, such as what happened in Polk County FL a few years ago. They might let you go all the way, video you, then arrest you two months later.

So, here is what I gleaned from previous news reports: it seems that they monitor places, even use "informers", permit acts that might be illegal and use them to "build a case". When Grady Judd (County Sheriff) and the State's Attorney decide they have enough goods, they issue warrants and supoenas to round up everyone and proceed from there. I have read about similar cases going for over a year, not solely in Polk County. LE works that way. Sometimes they target street level participants, other times they might have enough to go for an upper echelon mobster... depends on the a lot of parameters and politics. In no way is it isolated to the AMP hobby.

Announcement! : You are now in a police state. Your freedom has been replaced by rules imposed upon the masses to control and tax them. You may now be accused and convicted of a crime simply by walking into an EMP. Maybe just parking in the lot where the business is. Who knows, in Polk county you may be arrested for just being in Polk county.

The answer to your question is simple. The American people have to stop sending the same old folks to DC.
But we continue to buy their crap and send either Dem or Rep. back. The country needs a viable 3rd party. Until then we,the hobbiests, are doomed.It is so much crap. We are dumb.We being the voting public.

Actually the way it is set up is that an independent can not win the presidency. the electoral colleges are composed of appointed republicans and democrats. They have free choice to elect who they choose regardless of the popular vote.
