This topic refers to Yorba Spa
Yorba Spa picture

I went to Yorba Spa on Friday and saw Jen. I told her that I would pay with my ATM MC for a half hour $40.00. She runs my card and then says your giving me this much tip? My receipt showed $120.94! I told her your crazy cancel or reverse this transaction. She said she didn't know how and If I did. I showed her how to issue the refund and she gave me her and my copy for records. Weird experience and I'll never go back.

The $120.94 hit my bank this today. Business is slow so I'm sure they'll try to get away with whatever they can. She didn't look that good anyways!

I would have reported her to the credit card company. That's a total scam and she probably does it to other customers as well. Imagine if your waiter did that to you at a restaurant, he'd get fired on the spot. I recommend cash its easier and safer.

That's bullshit still . You can use the advice by ocgold or use some kind of a threat and they should give you your money back or get a free 1 hour massage. Either way, you need to stand on your own 2 feet and not be taken advantage of.

You're right Apache. It's no different than if they snatched cash from your wallet and said "oh, I thought you were gonna tip this much to me". Some of these providers have really big balls (figuratively), they couldn't be in that business if they didn't. You have to keep them in check.
