Ritchie Valens the 1950'st Mexican Crooner made Famous by the song LaBamba the name sake for this bar, would have forgot all about that “Oh Donna†girl he sang about, had he stuck his head in this local canteena. Colorfully decorated in the traditional Red and Yellow mexican colors. Coincidentally the same colors as your puke after a 15 hour Corona and Cuervo fiesta. La Bamba is on of those smaller bars I like so much. The stage fits about 20 girls at a time. You can sit on stools positioned all around the stage or in the benches along one half of the bar. If that doesn't suit you and you need to be closer to the tequila (I understand) you can sit right on the bar and still be close enough to squeeze your lime in a dancers eye. They sell a delicious pitcher of margarita's for 300P. If your a member of certain websites you get 20% off that. So you can really get a good south of the border buzz on for only 240P. Oh yeah, let us not forget that the girls are always a fun and friendly group. I love the festive costumes the waitress wear. So get on your groove and samba to La Bamaba.

I like this bar as it's more of the oldskool style and close to the action and the girls like to flirt a lot all of which is refreshing. They have a happy hour so the drinks are fair and the line up although never great doesn't suck.
